Recognising Excellence in Dedication and Service

In times of crisis, trauma or natural disaster, it's difficult to know who to turn to for support, care and assistance. During these complex and challenging times when people are often at their lowest, a chaplain is there to play a pivotal role in supporting individuals, families and communities.

You'll find them modelling humanity, offering a listening ear and guiding resources towards practical next steps. You'll also find them stepping into the gap, helping people in some of their darkest and in some of their most joyful moments. This is the heart of chaplaincy and the heart of care and compassion.

The 3rd Annual Governor’s Chaplaincy Awards returns in October 2025 to celebrate and acknowledge the unwavering dedication of those that have demonstrated extraordinary service to communities and individuals in need.

Let's continue to shine a light on the extraordinary dedication of chaplains throughout Western Australia.
